Thank you for taking the time to visit Rolling Hills Cane Corso. Rolling Hills is owned and operated by Alyssa, Jason, Patricia and Brad Edwards. All of the dogs are located in Colorado Springs, Colorado where they have a 5 acre yard to be themselves.
With a few of a Cane Corso's that we have owned they have proved to be calm and loyal to their owners, Love to give attention and make some of the best dogs around kids and families of all dynamics. They make some of the most protective and athletic dogs that I have ever owned. This is a rare breed in both personality and character, these dogs are not the type to be an outside dog but rather one that needs to be with their family. This breed only wants to make you happy and there only goal every day is to be and work with their owners.
They are great house and apartment dogs, they tend to be quiet and like to just be near you.
Prior to purchasing a Cane Corso I did months worth of research seeing the type of temperament that the breed had, their energy level and how driven the breed was. With all of the research that I did one thing kept coming up, how loving and protective they are. This is something that really sparked my interesting the breed and pushed me to find a local breeder to see this in person.
I found Dogwood Cane Corso and called straight away and luckily Jamie had a litter on the ground. Ares mom ended up jumping in my lap and stayed there. This was when I first fell in love with the breed and developed a strong friendship with Dogwood and Avalanche Cane Corso.
My parents to this day will still tell you that they had a lot of apprehension in regards to me getting started in this breed. Instead though they ended up being as touched by Dameana as I was. This and some prodding convinced my mom to take some time out of a vacation to stop by and see Avalanche Cane Corso.
I have two great mentor's and friends with in the breed, Jamie of Dogwood and Kim of Avalanche, without them I am not sure I would have ended up with the dogs I did and the knowledge to have my own kennel. Both of these women helped me get dogs that have touched my life and my heart and for that I can never say how much I appreciate and am thankful for them.
Kim, Lee and Jamie have been nothing short of amazing in helping me with this breed and I couldn't be more proud to own one of their puppies.
I am now the proud owner of two Cane Corso's; Evolution's Dameana and Avalanche's Inali!
